Drawing on a wide range of approaches from CBT, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-focused therapy, Motivational interviewing and more, a wide range of issues and topics can be addressed through 1:1 counselling.

My specialism is in attachment wounds and relationships, cultivating self-worth and self-compassion, moving through grief, and processing stuck memories.

EMDR-mock-up.jpg

Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) is a frontline PTSD treatment tool that has proven to be highly effective through brain scans by how it neutralises the charge of memories.

I am trained specialising in a somatic approach, which takes into account the client's internal physical sensations, perceptions, and experiences of one's body to give us clues that the mind cannot access.

My aim is to help clients:

To break free from the patterns of the past, build resilience and grounded coping skills for life’s challenges, and create a mindset that aligns you with the future you truly desire.

How?

  • Processing past hurts using Somatic EMDR, however big or small your 'trauma'.

  • Developing a deeper relationship with yourself to notice when you are out of alignment, or how certain situations may still hold an influence over you.

  • Foster kinder self-talk and self-acceptance, especially if you have a domineering negative inner critic.

  • Explore incongruences in your mindset, behaviour, situation(s) and desires and start moving towards a more aligned place.
